Ullevi – Gustaf Dicksson

Ullevi – the national arena of Sweden. Where Bruce Springsteen and Håkan Hellström perform. Where IFK Göteborg took home the Swedish Championships in 2007. In a series of three screen printed graphics created for Gustaf Dicksson‘s exhibition at Folk in February 2024 we joyfully reproduce collaged postcards from the event city Gothenburg. Gustaf has a tender love for the city that gave birth to Glenn Hysén, Leif “Loket” Olson, Invar Oldsberg and Janne Josefsson.

Gustaf Dicksson runs the independent record shop Discreet Music with a handful of labels, notably Förlag för Fri Musik, and his own sacral projekt BLOD. His collages and poster art often draw equal inspiration from communist agit prop, dirty Disney bootleg parodies and spiritual green wave anthroposophy nudist camps.
