KELSEY COTTON (AU/SE)
Kelsey Cotton [she/her] is a vocalist-artist-mover working with experimental music, Musical Artificial Intelligence, electronic textiles, soft-robotics, and Human-Computer Interaction. As a researcher, Kelsey is fascinated with pushing the limits of musical bodies, with her recent work delving deeper into designing artifacts which harness, augment and fuse different physiologies. She is passionate about somatic interaction, the potential for intersomatic experiences between fleshy and synthetic bodies, and first-person feminist perspectives of musical AI.
URSKA MEDVED
Urska Medved is a performance and visual artist whose practice exists at the intersection of textiles, body, video, space and living- and nonliving objects. She works site-specific, merging her work with its environment, transforming perceptions and meanings. Her durational performances and live installations transform spaces into interactive, reflective environments, where audiences are invited to enter, engage, and co-create. She is drawn to paradoxes—between labour and rest, presence and absence, the private and the public—and places them at the centre of her work.
VINCENZO MADAGHIELE (ITA/NO)
Vincenzo Madaghiele is a musician and developer working on improvisation with algorithmic techniques. He combines sound-generating processes from various sources into feedback systems focusing on dynamic and textural relations. He is currently a doctoral researcher in musicology at the University of Oslo, where he investigates the design and application of autonomous systems in music improvisation.
