Last time was so wonderful, lets do it again! Weekend workshop in screen printing on paper at the Longest Night studio in Kortedala mentored by Mileta Mijatovic and Anna Ehrlemark. Learn the fundamentals of hand crafted multilayered screen printing, from creating print originals to exposing screens and pulling the ink onto paper. In two days, working together side by side, we will produce a collective hand-printed book with your own artworks. Each participant will go home with a couple of books in the pocket.  

Screen printing is a graphic technique known for its striking colors and strong visual language. Longest Night founders Mileta and Anna have more than fifteen years of experience in printing and collaborating with artists in creating unique editions and hand-printed artist books. 

What you will learn: 

• Analogue and digital print preparations
• Book layout and color separations
• Coat screens
• Expose originals to screens
• Mix inks, work with transparencies
• Hand printing and registration between layers
• Post production, book making
• Clean up

The 2-day course is 1500 kr, including all materials, and requires no previous experience in screen printing. We will work at the Longest Night studio at Dagjämningsgatan 14 in Kortedala, Gothenburg. Max 9 participants.
